I gained inspiration from this post for another challenge I'm facing too! ššš I designed a collar for a blouse I want to embelish, and your colour is exactly the same as the thread I'm using. Seeing this, I suddenly realised what I need to do: add flowers to the next/outer row! Thank you!Carlien Coetzeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14157106043507783966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4725833531759425981.post-52161340530634836022019-03-01T18:11:58.253+05:302019-03-01T18:11:58.253+05:30Thanks, Ejay :-) There are so many brilliant tatte...Thanks, Ejay :-) There are so many brilliant tatters who share their methods generously, that we are spoiled for choice! Trying, choosing and then adopting or adapting only leads to constant improvement. It's the scientific method, isn't it :-D
As for base of ring, check out my Ring as a Fish post & pdf here : https://tipsaroundthehome.blogspot.in/2017/05/ring-as-fish.html
You might enjoy it.
muskaanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13125166115615109271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4725833531759425981.post-65992522593596603692019-03-01T17:59:20.164+05:302019-03-01T17:59:20.164+05:30Brilliant method of finishing! I was just wonderin...Brilliant method of finishing! I was just wondering if this was doable last night, after watching Frivole's video on starting on a chain. I must admit I never know what they mean by base of ring, when telling us to cut and tie at end, do they mean between first and last stitch of first ring, or between last stitch of first ring and first stitch of last chain.
This eliminate that confusion.
I like Jon Yusoff's method of turning work over so reverse facing, then fold first ring over so front of this ring is showing and picot is on correct position to join normally without twisting the picot. I must give this way a go too.Lilliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07881419558379225694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4725833531759425981.post-3939816039570194692018-09-29T07:17:10.802+05:302018-09-29T07:17:10.802+05:30Absolutely, Jane :-) There are numerous tutorials ...Absolutely, Jane :-) There are numerous tutorials out there already.
